HGV Transporters

HGV transporter systems for customs x-ray facility are an example of our bespoke engineering abilities. One type picks up the vehicle front axle and pulls the truck through the beam whilst the other is a flatbed on which the truck sits whilst being carried through the beam.

These systems are supplied to various countries customs departments. The flatbeds were installed into two buildings at Chinese border crossings. These are used to carry up to 60 metric Tonne vehicles through an x-ray so the contents of the vehicle can be inspected with out being unloaded. All the controls are self contained and they travel automatically in a square loop as shown very basically in this flash demo.
